The District Career Development Conferences is the first event we go to for the season. In Anaheim we compete with other chapters in the Southern California District and attend different types of workshops.

California State Career Development Conference
The State Career Development Conference (SCDC) is the biggest and most exciting California DECA event of the year. Members from across California gather each year for competitions, workshops, state officer campaigns, networking and countless other opportunities. The best competitors at SCDC qualify to attend ICDC.
International Career Development Conference
At the International Career Development Conference (ICDC), over 21,000 high school students, advisors, businesspersons and alumni gather for several days of DECA excitement. Most participants at ICDC compete in one of DECA’s competitive events vying to be the best in the world. In addition to competitive events, many students and advisors participate in a variety of leadership and career advancing academies.
